In celebration of the Neighborhood Mediation Center’s 25th anniversary, the NMC proudly presents the 2026 NMC Peacemaker of the Year Award—recognizing extraordinary individuals and groups who turn conflict into resolution. For a quarter century, NMC has helped neighbors, families, and institutions find common ground; this award honors those who carry that same spirit of empathy, fairness, courage, and hard work into the broader community. They build trust, restore understanding, and inspire others to pursue civility and harmony in their daily lives.
