40 hour Conflict Resolution

While there is no certification or licensure required to practice mediation,
a 40 hour certificate is usually considered the minimum training and
is generally accepted by mediation centers and courts.
Class dates and times - November 2006
Thursday, November 2nd, 6 to 10 pm
Friday and Saturday, November 3rd and 4th, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
Thursday, November 16th, 6 to 10 pm
Friday and Saturday, November 17th and 18th, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
Location - Midby Byron Building, UNR Campus.
Class size is limited and enrollment will be first come first served.
Participants will be awarded a 40 hour mediation certificate upon
completion and will be allowed to serve as mediators for the Neighborhood
Mediation Center. A limited number of scholarships are available.
